The owner-director of Green Door Pictures, Graham Holmes, has been actively producing television programming since 1985. In that time he's been involved with a number of productions ranging from children's programming and coverage of large sport events through to commercials and wildlife documentaries.
Green Door Pictures was opened in 1998, when Graham Holmes realized that there was a need for a production company that could offer the best work at very competitive rates. The Green Door Pictures philosophy is a simple one - Rather have a happy client who'll come back and work with you again; than a huge number at the bottom of the invoice!
While specializing in underwater work, Graham Holmes the principal director of photography for Green Door Pictures does work and breathe on land. He is available for hire anywhere in the world but being based in Johannesburg South Africa, logistically speaking the African continent is right next-door. Having worked in a variety of fields, Graham is extremely resourceful in his approach to what he shoots. As an avid lover of the outdoors and when he's not working you'll probably find Graham putting in some miles on one of his bicycles or watching some fish on a popular reef!
Solar powered cameras and sound equipment are just the beginning, Green Door Pictures utilises sustainable energy sources and subscribes to the idea of recycling for a better future! To this end, and in support thereof, Green Door Pictures donates 50% of the profits generated from its environmental related films to the ongoing research and in support of the environment.*
